Restoring the Ios Backup folder for your iPhone
Important: Before you restore or review your recovered data, you must first create a backup. Follow the instructions in the How to Video “Making a Backup of Your Recovery”. Then continue with the section that you wish to restore.
Restoring the iOS backup will overwrite any data that is currently on your iPhone. This process is best used if you have a new phone or you are willing to lose whatever you have put on your phone since your iPhone required recovery. If you have new data on the phone that you need to keep prior to restoring then please make sure you synchronize it to your iCloud account. How to sync your data to iCloud.

Accessing HEIC Photos and HEVC Videos
iPhones 7 and later running iOS11 and later have the option to take pictures using a format called HEIC and video in a format called HEVC. HEIC replaces the JPG format and HEVC is replacing the MOV format, although still uses the .mov extension. Most phones have this format selected by default. These formats are currently only viewable on MacOS 10.13 (High Sierra) or later. If you are on Windows or an older Mac OS they do not support these formats, so here are a few tools that you can use to view your data. DriveSavers does not convert the format of the data from how it was saved on your device.
For HEIC image support within Windows 10 and Windows 11, you should first go to your "Check for Updates" in your setting and see if you have any updates. If after doing your updates you still do not have support for these formats, you can download a Microsoft extension from the Microsoft App Store that will enable Windows to view these files. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/heif-image-extensions/9pmmsr1cgpwg?activetab=pivot:overviewtab
